A Declaration of Dots

This is a piece I created in 1971 just for the love of creating.  It was publicly displayed once in a community art show.  After that over a craw space over my parents garage where it remained for 40 years in hot and cold weather -where my dad put it to conserve on space after I left the area.  I was surprised to find it when emptying the house after my mom passed.  I was even more surprised to find it in pristine condition.

Probably the more interesting thing about this is its construction.  The image was fun but nothing like a stretcher being a exemplary art form too.

And the idea of this exercise came from a page in the Black Book Project.  Possibly the orange face was a premonition?
